The first stop of the YoloLiv U.S. User Meetup Tour touched down in Dallas. For more than three hours at Texas Film Studios, creators, broadcasters, and live production pros came together — because this craft matters to them. More than 30 attendees registered in advance, and the energy in the room more than lived up to the hype.

Nine speakers. Nine different corners of live production — aviation, sports, broadcast engineering, combat photography, church AV, multicam direction, and YouTube filmmaking. Every single one came with real workflows, hard-won lessons, and stories you won't find in any manual.
The range in the room said it all. Some speakers came with stories from the field — aviation runways, sports courts, church sanctuaries — sharing how they built their setups from scratch and what it actually takes to go live in unpredictable environments.
Others brought a more technical edge: how to run a full multi-camera production without a crew, how to make a low budget look like a high one, how to scale from a single camera to something that resembles a broadcast operation. And some went deeper than gear — making the case for why the human instinct behind a live stream can't be automated, and what that means for the craft long-term.
A selection of speaker sessions were captured on video. Watch the highlights from some of the talks below — real insights, straight from the stage.
