In practice, it&#8217;s anything but. Kevin Eagles, the creator behind <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@WLGLIVE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wellington Flights Live<\/a><\/strong> in New Zealand, spent years figuring out the hard way what a serious aviation live stream actually requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His answer, after multiple setups and a dramatic upgrade, is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yololiv.com\/yoloboxExtreme\">YoloBox<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Problem_OBS_Laptop_for_Aviation_Live_Streaming\"><\/span>The Problem: OBS + Laptop for Aviation Live Streaming<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin&#8217;s original aviation live stream setup was built around a heavy gaming laptop running OBS, an HDMI capture card, a large external battery, and a big table \u2014 all connected by a tangle of cables. Setup alone could take <strong>up to an hour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HDMI capture card was often glitchy and limited him to just one camera. Travelling with the kit was complicated, and recording wasn&#8217;t easy. For an aviation live streamer who needs to be mobile, reactive, and on-location at an airport, it was the wrong tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;I also needed a large heavy battery and a big table for it all.
