The <strong>Stream URL<\/strong> is the address where your video feed will be sent. The <strong>Stream Key<\/strong> is a unique code that identifies your stream and links it to your account. Here\u2019s how it set up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Log in to YoloCast<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/dashboard.yololiv.com\/broadcasts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YoloCast<\/a> and log in. If you\u2019re new, you can start with a <strong>14-day free trial<\/strong>. If you would like to have a free trial of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yololiv.com\/compare-plans\">YoloCast plans<\/a>, email hazelhe@yololiv.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Navigate to &#8221;Destinations<\/strong>&#8221; in the dashboard.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Add Kick as a Platform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>\u201cAdd Platform.\u201d<\/strong> Choose <strong>\u201cRTMP\/SRT\u201d<\/strong> as the platform type. Give it a name: for example, <strong>\u201cKick Stream\u201d<\/strong>. Paste the <strong>Stream URL<\/strong>( append <strong>\/app<\/strong> to the end of the URL for the connection to work) and <strong>Stream Key<\/strong> you copied from Kick earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color has-normal-font-size wp-elements-219f46b012d3b15c1fcc6942ba83c342\"><strong><em>\u26a0\ufe0f Important Note for Streaming to Kick via RTMP:<\/em><\/strong><br>This is a critical step that many streamers overlook. When using the RTMP method with Kick, you must <strong>modify the Stream URL<\/strong>. Specifically, you need to append <strong>\/app<\/strong> to the end of the URL for the connection to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Original URL (from Kick):<\/strong><br><code>rtmp:\/\/fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-765b4265f483d5a0f1a95cf70e3a33b8\"><strong>Updated URL (enter this in YoloCast):<\/strong><br><code><em>rtmp:\/\/fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net\/app<\/em><\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Stream Key remains unchanged.<\/strong> Without this adjustment, Kick may not properly receive your stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Click \u201cAdd Platform\u201d to save it.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Create a Live Event in YoloCast<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now go back to the <strong>\u201cLive Event\u201d<\/strong> section in your YoloCast dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>\u201cCreate Live Event.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose your <strong>video source<\/strong> depending on where your stream originates:<br>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you\u2019re using <strong>OBS\/vMix<\/strong>, select <strong>RTMP<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019re streaming directly from a <strong>YoloBox<\/strong>, choose <strong>YoloBox Event<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to stream a <strong>pre-recorded video<\/strong>, choose <strong>Simulated Live.<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Fill out the event details\u2014title, description, thumbnail, trailer, and all other necessary fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Destination<\/strong>, select the <strong>Kick Stream<\/strong> you just created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all fields are completed, click <strong>\u201cCreate.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Go Live<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After setting everything up, start your stream from YoloCast.
